About Us

We make one band, and we make it properly.

Not a catalogue of forty straps in every finish. One band, in three colourways, in two fittings — refined until there was nothing left worth changing.

The Signature Band in Midnight worn on a wrist
The problem

Your tracker is fine. The strap isn’t.

Fitness trackers ship with moulded silicone straps. Silicone is cheap to tool, waterproof, and completely airtight — which is exactly the problem. It seals sweat against your skin, and after an hour it announces to the room that you have been to the gym.

It also looks like gym equipment. That is fine at the gym. It is less fine for the other twenty-three hours, when the thing is still on your wrist at a dinner, in a meeting, at a wedding.

So we stopped treating the strap as a moulding problem and started treating it as a textile one.

The material

Woven nylon, open knit

The band is woven nylon in an open honeycomb knit. The structure is the whole point: the gaps in the weave let air move through the strap rather than trapping it underneath, and they let water pass straight out again. Sweat leaves instead of pooling.

It is light enough that you stop registering it, and it stays flat instead of curling away from the wrist. It is built to handle sweat, so a hard session is a non-event.

The strap

Adjustable, not approximate

Most straps give you five or six holes and ask you to pick the least wrong one. Ours threads back through a metal keeper, so the tension is continuous — you set it exactly where it sits flat without pressing.

That matters more than it sounds. A strap half a notch too tight leaves a mark; half a notch too loose slides down your wrist mid set. Continuous adjustment removes the choice entirely.

And it means one band fits the range of wrists that would otherwise need three sizes.

The company

Who we are

Cuff was started by a group of fitness and fashion enthusiasts who wanted an alternative — people who wore a tracker every day and were tired of the strap being the worst part of it.

We have deliberately kept the range to one band, in three colourways, in two fittings. We sell direct, which is the only reason a band built this way lands at $39 rather than what it would carry through a retail markup.

If something arrives wrong, we would rather hear it than not. Tell us and we will make it right.

One band. Three colours.
